Warhammer 40K: Battlesector gets a new DLC, putting you in charge of the Astra Militarum. So get ready to give tanks in the 41st millennium.

The Astra Militarum are at the heart of the new DLC for Warhammer 40K: Battlesector. With enough tanks and heavy firepower to level the surface of most planets, the Astra Militarum manages to make their inevitable fiery deaths worth it as they die in untold numbers to save the Imperium. Probably.

The new DLC, fittingly titled Astra Militarum, puts you in command of the Militarum. You’ll find new units, naturally, but you’ll also find new methods of support and a whole new way to play. Let’s dive right in.

Warhammer 40K: Battlesector – Astra Militarum DLC

First and foremost, the tanks. Tanks, tanks, and more tanks are here in 40K’s big turn-based strategy game. You’ll find Leman Russes in the form of Demolishers, Vanquishers, and Punishers. You’ll also be able to field Basilisks with their powerful Earthshaker Cannons. And, of course, the Rogal Dorn Battle Tank will let you smash through enemy lines.

And that’s all just the start. If you want to play around with the Astra Militarum’s units, this expansion gives it all to you, from Shock Troops to Ogryns to Primaris Psykers and beyond.

“The new pack places players in command of the Astra Militarum faction, the foundation of the Imperium’s strength: a vast, loyal, and unified fighting force unmatched across the galaxy. nown for their overwhelming numbers, formidable firepower, and unbreakable loyalty to the Emperor, the Astra Militarum embodies the Imperium’s power on the battlefield.”

– Warhammer 40K: Battlesector – Astra Militarum

You’ll need the base game of Warhammer 40K: Battlesector to play the new DLC. But as luck would have it, the core game is 50% off on Steam right now.
