As you might expect from a book titled Vow of Absolution, the Absolvers Space Marines Chapter features big in Cubicle 7’s new book!

Space Marines are at the heart of the newest book for Warhammer 40K: Wrath and Glory. In Vow of Absolution, players can unlock the power of the Absolvers Chapter. Which comes with a ton of new player options, including new Litanies for Chaplains and Psychic powers for Librarians.

All as the conflict in the Gilead system reaches a fever pitch. Exciting times for roleplaying in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium.

Wrath and Glory: Vow of Absolution Won’t Absolve You Of Real Life Woes, But Is Good For Fictional Ones

This splatbook is a significant expansion for Warhammer 40K: Wrath and Glory. It isn’t just full of player options – though it does introduce a ton of Tier 5 Astartes Archetypes. But it also comes with its own “military action” adventure. And you’ll find rules for running more military-focused campaigns within.

All that on top of the deep dive into the lore at the heart of the Absolvers Chapter of Space Marines. If you like all things Astartes, this book will give the Imperium’s Defenders of Humanity a significant leg up. Here’s a taste of what’s inside:

“Vow of Absolution is a detailed and in-depth guide to the Absolvers Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes stationed within the Gilead System and features a wealth of expanded lore, locations, and characters.”

There are three new Key Locations for the Absolvers Chapter. Alongside the locations, is a look at the history and lore of the Chapter. For players, there are new Astartes Talents, as well as new Absolvers Wargear and Equipment. I’m personally excited to see some new Psychic Powers and Litanies of Battle to play with.

I think that Wrath & Glory is best when you’re flirting with its psychic powers and magic system. But your mileage may vary. The book is due out soon in physical format, with shipments expected any day now.
