‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ Devs Mark 100 Million Mod Downloads By Making ‘Withers Big Naturals’ Official
Baldur’s Gate 3 developers celebrated the massive success of mods by making the immensely popular ‘Withers Big Naturals’ mod official.
Baldur’s Gate 3 hit a big milestone this week, reaching more than 100 million mods downloaded. This data comes to us via Larian’s social media accounts, which announced the number of downloads, as well as making a new addition to the official mod list. And that mod?
“Withers Big Naturals.” It does exactly what you think. Scroll on for photo evidence.
It is truly the most Larian Studios announcement of all times. Horny. Weird. And ultimately, relatable. This isn’t the first Withers-centric mod; back in October of 2024, Larian announced that more than 100,000 players had downloaded a mod that let you rename Withers to Bone Daddy. But now Withers and the rest of you degenerates have an official liaison.
Larian’s Massive Mod Success
This success translates to a massive update with the Big Naturals mod officially okayed for console players.
One of the main points about the Withers Big Naturals Mod being made official is that it means that console players can download the mod as well. There are slightly tighter restrictions for people playing Baldur’s Gate 3 on console, which is why the PC mods will generally tend to lead the way.
But Larian can add mods to the official list, allowing players to download them. As Larian stated in the announcement, modding has really kept the game growing:
Wethher you’re looking to cheat your way through, throw on a fancy outfit, or simply give Withers some big naturals, check out the Channel From Hell modding playlist for mod suggestions to spice up your gameplay.
What a list, too.
Click through, and you’ll find a number of recommended mods, including ones that can increase the size limit of your party, as well as increase the size of Withers.
All that to say Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. With a massive new patch due out next month, most likely, even more content will be added to the game. And while it’s the last major patch from Larian studios, if the mods of innovative players are anything to go by, the game will keep going for many years to come.
Wellp, time too start my weirdest playthrough yet!
