Eberron is one of my favorite campaign settings, and one of the best intro adventures to the world has landed for Roll20 on the DM’s Guild.
Eberron is a world of magitech, war, secrets, and mysteries. It’s one of the most inventive D&D settings out there, and at its core is the idea that the world exists in a place where the rules of D&D dictate how the world unfolds.
That is to say, magic is everywhere, and there are loads of low-level people everywhere. All of them are doing what they can to get by. With gnome spies and secret demon cults, there’s a lot to get into. One of the best ways of doing that is with an introductory adventure. Curtain Call: A Sharn Adventure was written by the creator of Eberron (and others). And now, it’s hit Roll20, and you can find the addon packet on the DM’s Guild.

One of the best thing about Eberron is its pulpy, adventure-y feeling. And you can get a feel for that yourself in this adventure, which takes characters from levels 1 through 4. It’s set in Sharn, the City of Towers, which is sort of the New York/London/Waterdeep of Eberron. It’s a big city full of intrigue, industry, and machinations of all sorts.
And Curtain Call will take you through its many districts. Of course, a simple adventure turns out to be much more complicated than the party might have initially thought:
“Curtain Call: A Sharn Adventure is an introductory Eberron adventure for 1st to 4th level characters. Written by Keith Baker (creator of Eberron), Robert Adducci (Guild Adept), Wayne Chang, this is a great adventure for new Dungeon Masters to Eberron and includes sidebars to help DMs and players get familiar with the world of Eberron.
A paying job in Sharn to find out what happened to a missing noble turns into a myriad of street chases, personal grudges, spy agencies, cultists, and charlatans as you take an exciting tour through the City of Towers.“
I just think more people should give Eberron a try.
