Is this the year we add the “u” back to Rumor Engine? Apparently not. But it’s back from Games Workshop with a new image to theorize about!

Welcome to the year 2025! It’s a Tuesday as well and just like clock-work, GW is back with a brand new Rumor Engine for us to dissect. Or at least guess wildly at. Let’s see what the New Year brought us!

“We’re only a few days into 2025 and we’ve already made an exciting breakthrough with our Rumour Engine technology. In an attempt to get clearer pictures, we somehow managed to turn this week’s reveal into – of all things – a mirror.

See, it works.”

Rumor Engine – Return Of The Faces

Well…RUDE. I don’t know what sorts of mirrors GW has around the Rumor Engine but “harsh, bro.” Anyhow, this is clearly a daemon visage. It’s also one we’ve seen similar versions of previously. While it’s not giving us a ton to work on I think we can at least say for certain that there’s some chaos in our collective future.

For example, here’s one from all the way back in February of 2020! That one turned out to be an exclusive Chaos Warrior Miniature:

I’m not saying this one is going to be another exclusive Chaos Warrior. But I am saying we’ve got chaos coming.

Will this be an Emperor’s Children chaos reveal or something else? Well that is something I’m not sure about. But I wouldn’t be shocked. After all, if this IS a Mirror, Slaanesh does have a thing for those…

Mirror…Portal to the realm of chaos…really can’t tell these days.

Anyhow, now that I’ve got chaos on the brain I’m locked in. I’ve got to report into my local Inquisitor for re-education so while I’m away please feel free to drop us your theories in the comments section.

If it IS a mirror then the Inquisitor has got some work to do…
