Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist – Slaanesh Daemons “Sticky Temptation”
Goatboy here with a Warhammer 40K Chaos Daemons list that won big recently. It’s a whole orgy of Slaanesh Daemons with just a pinch of Nurgle thrown in for the aroma.
Goatboy here with a list that won this last week before LVO. This list won the biggest event of that week – a UKTC Nottingham Super Major – a 375 player event across the pond. The Slaanesh Chaos Daemon list was taken by a Will Whitaker who had to crew thru some rough match ups on the way in. This is an army list that isn’t using all the tricks from the detachment but it will hit you, hit you hard, and wreck your business.

Sticky Temptation Army List Tactics
The armylist gives you Plaguebearers that make things sticky (which is a theme we should all add to our lists), a bunch of big monsters to punch you, some powerful character boosters, and then a whole lot of speed. It is a big ole list that loves to reroll all their hits and just chew through things when it finally gets there.
Syll’Esske is always fun as a unit that can come out, get shot to pieces, and if they die just pop back up again. Just having the ability can be huge when an opponent has to invest a bit more attention they they wanted to get that daemon to stay down. The rest of the Daemon army is just full of things that benefit from the Detachment rule and just hits hard. It is interesting to see only two big units of Fiends and one small MSU one but I get the feeling the Seekers help make up for it with two more hard hitting units.
