G.I. Joe: Battle for The Arctic Circle is “powered by Axis & Allies“. Basically, they’ve taken the core Axis & Allies gameplay and added a G.I. Joe twist. Axis & Allies, being one of the preeminent wartime strategy games, is certainly a great foundation for any strategy game. But then, adding in over 100 plastic G.I. Joe miniatures, and you’ve got something special!
In typical Axis & Allies fashion, 2 to 4 players battle it out for supremacy. Here, they fight over the arctic circle. Players will be waging war on land, sea, and air. Fan favorites such as Snow Cat, W.O.L.F., Skystriker, and Rattler make an appearance. Plus, G.I. Joe: Battle for The Arctic Circle adds new strategic options as well!
Players will be able to activate the Weather Dominator to freeze the ocean solid, closing off key sea routes, or to create strategic land bridges to attack from unexpected flanks.
