Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Affiliations, FAQ, & More Updated

Atomic Mass Games has updated Marvel: Crisis Protocol. These are fairly short so we’re going to go over all of the changes.

With a handful of new releases on the horizon, Atomic Mass Games has updated their Affiliation List, Base Sizes, and the FAQ/Errata Document. These are really to add in the new characters and update some of the cards that had errors or needed clarifications. Let’s start with the big stuff: Affiliations!

You can find the full Affiliations List Here. But I’m going to keep this short and sweet.

Defenders Add:

• Elsa Bloodstone
• Man-Thing

Guardians of the Galaxy Add:

• Nova
• Yondu

Midnight Sons Add:

• Elsa Bloodstone (leader)
• Man-Thing

These aren’t exactly shocking additions. However, we at least got the confirmation of where all these characters are officially going. Now the MCP community can start making accurate lists with these characters.

Base Size Update

This update was to add the four new characters in the game. Here’s the full list if you need it. However, once again, we’re going to keep this one short:

• Elsa Bloodstone – 35mm
• Man-Thing – 50mm
• Nova – 35mm
• Yondu – 35mm

Again, not a huge shocker. We did have pictures of the miniatures on their bases. But this is at least confirmation once again.

FAQ & Errata

The FAQ and Errata section is a tad more complicated. I would recommend you download it for yourself — especially if you’re looking to play in any events. Anyhow, this errata officially goes into effect on January 31, 2025. Here are the major updates:

Basically, the Heart of the Worth Team Tactic Card got it’s wording/timing clarified. Angel and Archangel got a corrected icon for their stat card. And finally, Elsa Bloodstone’s stat card also got an update, too.

Other than that, it’s all pretty straightforward and full steam ahead for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. The new characters are slated to arrive on their street date of January 31, 2025. I’m already putting together a new Guardians of the Galaxy list! I have a funny feeling I’m not the only one…

Now, we just need to get our hands on the new War of Kings Crisis Pack for 2025…
