The forces of the Empire march on, bringing Sigmar’s glory to the battlefield. And during the Heresy, new Dreadnaughts show the Emperor’s glory.

Next week, the Empire continues its massive rollout of new minis, led by new heroes wielding glory, guns, and hammers. But it’s not just heroes. There are new troop models, new tools, and of course, a new Steam Tank.

But then also, in the era of the Horus Heresy, there are plenty more new tanks, including the Boreas-pattern Deredeo Dreadnaught. All this in next week’s preorders!

The Empire’s New Groove

The Empire’s rollout ramps up into full swing next week. And this is embodied in none other than its most trusted general, Hans von Lowenhacke. Von Lowenhacke wields into the fray wearing ornate plate armour, and he keeps some of its staunchest foes at bay.

Although if you prefer a more dramatic figure, you’ll want to look no further than Harald Gemunsen, Grand Master of the Knights Panther. Where General von Lowenhacke protects the Empire’s people, Gemunsen protects its soul.

Then, of course, are the Wizards Three. These are three masters of magic who embody the days before the College of Magic, where self-discipline and stick-to-it-ness were what made a Wizard. All told you’ll find a Battle Wizard, an Elementalist and a Necromancer, each with a discipline-appropriate familiar.

A more martial leader can be found in the form of the Captain of the Empire and Engineer with Hochland Long Rifle.

Or roll out the Empire’s signature weapon of war, the Steam Tank. A masterwork of artifice and engineering, Steam Tanks deliver what the Empire is known for: heavy firepower

And if that’s not to your liking, you can go with a rocket battery or volley gun squad instead. Or take them too for some serious fire support.

Then we have the Grandmasters Three – like the Wizards, these are Knights of Old. And they head up some of the fiercest knightly orders: the Knights Panther, Knights of the Blazing Sun, and Knights of the White Wolf.

Of course, the Empire is susceptible to heresy, especially in a time of civil war. Fortunately, they have a vast cadre of Witch Hunters, like this one.

And for more dire beasts, there are units like Sir Cecil, the Wyrmslayer, who gains the Terror special rule after killing a monstrous unit.

Or take Burlik Damminson, seen here as a strapping young dwarf, who wields experimental weapons that befuddle and vex the Engineer’s Guild so.

Then on the Chaos side of things, there’s Frydaal the Chainmaker, a Chaos Champion with big ideas about spikes.

And Galrauch, the Great Wyrm, first of the dragons to fall to the corrupting power of the Warp. Boy does it make him powerful.

Meanwhile in the Horus Heresy Era

Over on the Horus Heresy side of things, there’s plenty of new kits out as well. Starting with the Boreas-pattern Deredeo Dreadnought. This Dreadnought brings anti-air weapons to the already formidable Deredeo chassis.

The Arvus Lighter is an iconic part of the Imperium’s aerial corps, and this new kit brings it to life with an optional crew-operated multilaser to boot.

If you need to blaze a fiery swath through the battlefield, you might want to bring out the new Malcador Infernus, a flamethrower tank. It’s as terrifying as it sounds.

But if those pesky Malcador tanks are keeping you down, you might want a Valdor Tank Hunter, a heavy tank destroyer designed to pick apart even the thickest armor.

All this, next week!
