Warhammer: US Open 2025 Announced
The dates and locations for the Warhammer US Open Series for 2025 have been announced. Time to start making plans to attend!
If you’re looking to get into the World Championships of Warhammer, the Grand Narrative, or any of the other events it’s time to make plans. Games Workshop has officially announced the dates and locations for the up coming US Open Series for 2025.
“Every stop on the US Open Series tour is a jam-packed weekend with well-fought games of Warhammer in a tournament setting. This year’s roadshow is heading to Dallas TX between the 22nd and 25th of May, and Tacoma WA between the 17th and 20th of July.
The season culminates at the World Championships of Warhammer in Atlanta GA from the 6th to the 9th of November. “
Warhammer US Open 2025
If you’re able to get to Dallas, Tacoma, or Atlanta on the dates listed then you’re already one step towards attending the US Open series. Even event will host tournaments for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, and Warhammer Underworld. There’s something for everyone! Additionally, other systems will also be represented at selected events, too.
Tickets for these events will go on sale on March 1st at 1pm EDT! So set an alarm if you’re planning on going. They tend to go pretty quick so be prepared!
“This year’s US Opens include an increased array of activities to participate in beyond just tournaments, such as Warhammer board and video game rooms, painting competitions, evening activities in the gaming halls, and thematic hobby challenges. There’s also a brilliant collection of gifts for attendees, and even an epic box which includes everything from challenge coins and pin badges to gaming aids and objective tokens.”
If you get a chance to attend, the US Open Series is a lot of fun. Even if you don’t get to play in one of the events, just going to check it out for a day to see the games, the store, and all the extras is worth it.
More Events and Qualifiers
One more thing to note is that these three events are “core” events, the Warhammer Community is geared up to have other “potential stops” during the series. I’m not sure what all that entails but I’m guessing if things go well then you can bet more events will be added this year.
There’s also all the qualifying events, too. If you’re a Tournament Organizer you can actually apply for your event to become a qualifier! These are a great way to generate interest in your events and get you local community involved.
I’ve been to US Open events in the past and they’ve been fantastic. It’s great to see so many other folks engaging and connecting through Warhammer. If you get a chance to play, that’s awesome. But even just going to check things out is worth it.
Time to mark the calendar…
