Even though we might not NEED these time travel board games, I will still want them. So get your flux capacitors ready, because we’re about to go back in time!

Spyfall Time Travel

It’s up to you to find the spy! But rather than being hidden in different locations around Gotham City, like in DC Spyfall, the spy could be hiding in one of many iconic locations throughout time. Maybe a Neanderthal Cave or a Lunar Base. Maybe the spy is sneaking around in an Old West Saloon or Viking longship! It’s up to you to ask the right questions to track them down in time!

Chrononauts

History isn’t what it is supposed to be! It’s up to you to make it right by how you remember it. But the other players also have their own versions of history. Players travel to various points in history and manipulate the timeline to suit their own version of history. Each change will ripple throughout the timeline. Make sure your version of history is the one that’s set!

Anachrony

Anachrony might be one of the most well known time travel board games. Combining elements of worker placement, tableau building, and resource management. Players will travel through time to gain resources and score points. Through mining valuable resources, collecting scientific geniuses, and careful planning, players will be able to restore the future after the dreaded cataclysm tore it asunder.

TIME Stories

Remember the Marvel series, Loki? TIME Stories is basically that. But TIME Stories is a heavily narrative game. It’s a game that’s less about competing to restore history to your personal version, and more about working together to restore it to it’s proper state. But, you have time machines! So if you don’t get it right the first time, just zip back to before you started and try again. That’s how time travel works after all.

Back to The Future – Back in Time Board Game

Obviously we needed to include Back To the Future in a list of time travel board games.

You can read more about this fun, cooperative game here.

BoLS might make a few bucks on anything you buy from these links. But, be honest, you don’t enjoy randomly browsing online stores. So let us do the annoying part for you. Help us help you.
