The Blacktalons Return For Season 2

From the teaser article it sure seems like we’re going to get into quite a bit more backstory for Neave Blacktalon this season. But not just her history as a Stormcast Eternal — but her life before she became reforged. Personally, I’ve found that concept to be the most intriguing part of the Stormcast lore. They were souls that were plucked from the clutches of Nagash and reforged into Sigmar’s army. But who they were before is a mystery to most of them. Maybe they weren’t so “worthy” of being reforged in the first place. And maybe that’s Sigmar’s dirty little secret…

Anyhow, we’ll have to wait to see what is revealed in Season 2 for Neave and the rest of the Blacktalons. Additionally there’s going to be some “familiar faces” that pop up from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. A few of them will be making their animated debut in this series. That could be a fun easter egg to find!

One more thing to note is that this new season is going to air over the coming months. Three episodes will arrive in March and April. Then, the last three parts will arrive over summer. I bet we can assume that’s because they want to keep people subscribed over the next few months. But I would also wager that the show’s probably still being worked on…but that’s just a guess.
