Tomorrow the 2025 Monster Manual launches officially for everyone, from FLGSes to VTT’s. You can still snag some pre-order bonuses, though!

As of tomorrow, the 2025 Monster Manual will be officially released. The core ruleset for D&D 5.5E will be out in full. And you, personally, will be able to snag the Monster Manual without having to jump through more than the usual hoops.

Some folks have already got their hands on one. WotC sent out early access copies to WPN stores, and on D&D Beyond with certain subscriptions access was granted as early as two weeks ago. But as of tomorrow, it’s out for everyone. Which means the ruleset for 5.5E will be whole at last – and that there’s still time to snag some preorder bonuses.

Monster Manual 2025 – Launch Day Pre-Order Bonuses

If by some chance you’re not familiar with what’s in the 2025 Monster Manual, as the name suggests, it’s a catalogue of creatures, big and small for D&D. There are many new creatures, a lot of old creatures that have been revamped. You get something like more than 500 stat blocks scattered throughout its pages. I haven’t read them all yet, but in general, the monsters hit harder. We’ll take you deeper into it after launch day.

But for now, let’s talk about what you can still get if you pre-order. Because if you were gonna get it anyway, you may as well get a little extra.

Starting with Roll20, which has a D&D Core Rulebook Bundle that includes all three of the core rulebooks plus several extras. You’ll get a few splatbooks and adventures, including Exploring Eberron, a compendium of all things Eberron that you didn’t know you needed in your life; and Baldur’s Gate: The Fall of Elturel, an adventure that sets up Descent into Avernus or whatever you decide to do with it.

You do also get a ton of maps and and digital tokens as well, because it’s Roll20 and having those makes it easy to play D&D on Roll20.

Pre-order on D&D Beyond, either as an individual book or as part of the core rulebook bundle (which you may well have done already) and you’ll unlock 12 exclusive frames, 5 backdrops, and 4 sets of digital dice for use on D&D Beyond. Which is nice if you’re already using it. I wouldn’t switch platforms just for those sweet sweet bonuses, but, it’s more about seeing what you get for pre-ordering where you were gonna do it anyway.

Or just get it at your FLGS and then get the bonus of “having an actual book.” Which, let’s be honest, hard to beat.

See you tomorrow for more Monster Manual madness!
