Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: Double Big Chaos Knights – Proven Winners

Goatboy here talking about a double big boi Chaos Knight list that got 3rd place in a 40K 79-player Polish event this last week. This list has what it takes!
The dream of running around with two big ole Chaos Knights who are coming in hot and angry is a dream I would love to do. I get the feeling this player is just really good with Chaos Knights, using the terrain to hide, and knowing when to go big with two double dragons of dark mechanical fury.
Maks Adamek list uses two big knights, a bunch of other assault options, and some backing shooting ability to wreck opponents. He did pretty well in a rough field that was won by some mean Aeldari lists. I just like this idea as it isn’t a ton of models, goes heavy on the assault side of things, and just seems pretty fun to play. Heck I won’t lie it is tempting to try it out at an event (Clutch City) in Houston this weekend.

Maks Adamek’s Chaos Knights Tactics
Look at how little there is to throw down with shooting and other fun damage options. I just love how brutal it reads and how you can easily have a turn where you throw four big assault options at the enemy in one turn. The two big knights can run over buildings and the Karnivores can use Knights of Shade to come in hot and heavy in a turn. The Plague Bearers are well set up to hold the backfield and the little Beast of Nurgle can shoot around the board and make sure an objective is very stinky as needed.
I love the idea of using 2 heavy push Knights and a bunch of angry doggies to back you up. This feels like a pretty fun list and I won’t lie I wonder if its s worth it to look into. I hope the new book that comes in the future will keep these armies rocking and maybe I can bring out my Chaos Knights again.
Give it up for Mads – well done sir!
