Marvel: Crisis Protocol – PSA Don’t Use The ‘War of Kings’ Objective Tokens
There seems to have been a slight mix up from the printers with the objective tokens inside the War of Kings Crisis Card Pack. Oops.
This is just a public service announcement to all the Marvel: Crisis Protocol players out there that might not check in with AMG’s Facebook or Instagram page. There’s been a issue with the objective tokens from the upcoming War of Kings Character and Crisis Card Pack.

We’ve identified an issue with the objective token size in the CA13 War of Kings Character and Crisis Card Pack. While this doesn’t impact the product’s overall usability, we recommend using tokens from CP143 Earth’s Mightiest Core Set or CA09 Crisis Card 2023 Set for optimal gameplay.
War of Kings Objective Token Oopsie
I didn’t notice it when I unboxed the War of Kings but after I saw this announcement I went back and looked for myself.
The tokens outside the sheet are the ones from the Earth’s Mightiest core set. The sheet is from the War of Kings. You might be able to see the issue from there. But I think this next pic illustrates the point further:
I popped out two of the tokens from the sheet and placed them on top of their respective objective token. As you can see they are quite a bit smaller. It seems the printers cut them a *tad* smaller than they should have. AMG confirmed this further in a transmission, too.
“The token sheet being released will have smaller tokens than what is preferred for gameplay. Upon unboxing the product, we discovered that an incorrect dieline was applied to the token sheet during production, resulting in the objective tokens being cut at .75″ instead of 1″.
As these objective tokens were meant to serve as potential replacements for those found in CP143 Earth’s Mightiest Core Set and CA09 Crisis Card 2023 Set, this does not impact the overall usability of the product. However, to ensure the best gameplay experience, we recommend using the objective tokens provided in CP143 Earth’s Mightiest Core Box or CA09 Crisis Card 2023 Set, which are the correct size of 1″.”
War of Kings Has Its Casualties
So there you have it. The Objective Tokens inside the War of Kings box are .75″ instead of the correct 1″ size. It’s a small mistake but it can impact your game play. The fix is just to continuing using the tokens from the previous sets. It’s a bummer for sure as these tokens were supposed to be replacements (if you needed them). As far as the rest of the items in the box, everything seems fine. Gladiator is a cool character to add and his tokens are just fine for game play.
