From Monument Hobbies:
“The AMP Colors Cosmic Sets introduce 18 amazing new paints developed in partnership with the Atomic Mass Games studio and based on the world-renowned PRO Acryl formula. They deliver the same premium high-density pigment in a superior acrylic medium, giving great opacity right out of the bottle and allowing all colors to thin evenly to achieve any level of transparency. They are formulated to provide the same consistency in color and coverage, whether applied with a standard brush or airbrush. All paints come with an innovative, no clog, cap, that provides the benefits of a dropper bottle and twist cap all in one. They also come loaded with PRO Acryl’s signature glass agitators and are sealed for freshness!”
AMP Colors Announced
I’m not going to lie, I’m looking forward to these. First up, the fact that these colors are designed for use with both a standard brush AND an air brush is intriguing. I’m assuming you’d have to thin these paints for air brush work…but I don’t know for sure.
Secondly, I like the design of the caps. I’m curious how their “no clog” cap will work as these seem like dropper bottle-style. And thirdly, I’m glad to hear they are including glass agitators inside the bottles as well. I didn’t think those would be as big a deal but they really do help mix the paint!
These colors are going to be sold first at AdeptiCon in 2025 but will be heading to stores in April 2025. I’m going to be keeping an eye out for these for sure!
More paints? Yes please.
