Whether you’re into collectibles, action figures, or board games there are a ton of D&D toys out there to collect between game sessions.

Sure, we all love playing D&D. But let’s be honest, we also love games (and toys) that feel a lot like D&D even if they aren’t technically rolling dice and telling stories.

1. D&D Lego Minifigures

D&D toys

I saw this in that little section of the grocery store with toys, and was instantly obsessed. Of course, that was a blind box, so I didn’t know if I’d be bringing home a Tiefling or a Lich or anything else. But this set let’s you get the entire collection with no guesswork. There are twelve D&D Lego minifigs and their accessories. Can you replace your D&D minis with Lego minifigs? I mean, I’ve done it in a pinch and these are pretty cute. So…

2. Beholder Pop Vinyl

Even if you don’t love Pop Vinyls, there’s always one or two you have to admit are pretty neat. There have been a few sets of these ranging from absolutely adorable, to this almost kind of scary Beholder. Should they be scary? In an encounter, maybe. But as collectible plastic figures to line your computer desk or RPG bookshelf, they’re pretty darn fun.

3. D&D Dungeon Mayhem

D&D toys

A little different from the D&D toys, Monster Mayhem is an accessible and kid-friendly introduction to D&D in the form of a card game. This fantasy adventure game for up to four players at least eight years old. You can chose your classic D&D class and use your cards to combine powers in an attempt to be the last adventurer standing. Whether you’re a fan of D&D already or want to sneakily convince some kids that it’s cool, Monster Mayhem is easy, contained, and fun.

2. Die-Cast Metal Figures

D&D toys

Something about these sets are undeniably nostalgic. The adventurer and monster figures look like they stepped out of a classic D&D book and remind me of the milk crates full of random little plastic figures from my childhood. Only now the paint is a little nicer and I wouldn’t drop them in the random figure bin with oh-so-many Power Rangers. Sure to be a blast from the past, this set would look great wherever your RPGs are played. And, if you’re ever in need of an emergency mini, they’ll fit right in.

5. (Foam) Excalibur

D&D toys

No matter how old you are, foam weapons are awesome. Nerf guns and blasters? Perfection, no notes. But sometimes you want to be a little more melee in your adventures and get something a little more close quarters in the mix. For that, a foam replica of Excalibur is about to become your new favorite foam weapon.

Do you already own any of these or any other D&D toys? What is your favorite that you’ve collected so far? Will you be adding any of my picks today to your collection in the near future? Let us know in the comments!

Happy adventuring!
