‘Total War: Warhammer 3’ Patch 6.1 Delayed To Next Week

According to a recent devlog, the upcoming Kislev rework and AI rebalancing of Patch 6.1 will be delayed to March 25th, next Tuesday.
Change might be the only constant, but delays in development are surprisingly consistent. At least enough to be unsurprising. But not necessarily an unwelcome unsurprise – oftentimes delays happen because the work just isn’t where it needs to be. Personally, I’d much rather have something polished than slap-dashed out the door ahead of its final readiness.
All that to say, a recent devlog announced a pushback of the planned update to Total War: Warhammer 3. Patch 6.1 would rework the Kislev faction, giving them a much-needed overhaul to the court dynamic and other mechanics, as well as adjust the campaign AI. And all of that is still in place. But the release date is now Tuesday, March 25th. So, not a huge delay either.

According to a post from Steve Coleman, Senior Community Manager at Creative Assembly, the delay also includes time to polish up free units, add in a new option for Mother Ostankya’s campaign, and even give Tzeentch some attention because if anyone is going to be talking about Changing things, it should surely be Tzeentch:
“A heads up that we’ve moved back our planned release of Patch 6.1 from mid-March to Tuesday, March 25. As always, we want to ensure that our updates are as solid as they can be, and as shared in our recent 6.1 Dev Blog, we’ve got plenty of big updates coming to Kislev and Tzeentch, plus new free units on the way, and want to make sure they get the full love and care they deserve before landing in-game!
We wanted to let you know that we heard your feedback around Mother Ostankya’s campaign starting position. The team have added a new option to her campaigns that allows you to return to Kislev if you wish to do so.”

Kislev’s calling!
