Warhammer 40K: Emperor’s Children Army Set Up Close

We’ve got the new Emperor’s Children Army Set in the studio. It’s time to take a closer look at these brand new miniatures!
The Emperor’s Children Army set is up for pre-order this weekend and we’ve got a preview copy from Games Workshop to check out. The set itself features 33 new miniatures introducing an update to the Emperor’s Children range. Let’s dive into the new kits!
Lord Exultant
The Lord Exultant is your commander in the box. He’s basically a Chaos Lord of Slaanesh, but with an Emperor’s Children slant. The kit is rather versatile as you can assemble him in many different ways depending on the options you choose. Above we went with a Power Fist and Screamer Pistol.
This kit also is loaded up with details. As we go through these Emperor’s Children keep an eye out for all the Heresy-Era armor call backs. From armor studs, to beaky helms, to the shape of the armor plates — once you start looking for them, they will jump out at you.
Infractors/Tormentors Squad
Up next is the squad leader for the Infractors/Tormentors squad. If you’re unfamiliar with the squad names those are basically the designations for either the melee or the ranged version of the “rank-and-file” Emperor’s Children squad. The Tormentors get all the cool ranged options (boltguns, melta, plasma) while the Infractors get all the melee options.
Squad-wise, you get 20 of these rank-and-file Emperor’s Children in the box so you can build one squad of each. Or just focus on one aspect. The Squad Leader, however, is basically the same for either option. You can swap out the plasma pistol for a bolt pistol and you can swap out the whip for a power sword. You’ve got options with this unit.
Noise Marines
Here we get to a fan favorite – The Noise Marines. While they didn’t opt for the 80’s hair metal rocker look, these Noise Marines are more inline with the more recent squad update.
In total there are 12 of them in the box. They are on 40mm bases, too. They have loads of interchangeable options and you can really go nuts customizing these squads. Their sonic blasters even have various barrel options that you can choose. So have fun with it.
So Many Head Options
One final thing I wanted to call out specifically was all the different head options on these sprues. Being Marine heads, there’s going to be plenty of helmets/non-helmets heads you can use for these kits. You get plenty in the box, too. So enjoy swapping them out for whatever suits your fancy with these miniatures.
The Army set is out this weekend for pre-orders. Good luck getting this one!
Time to bring the NOISE!
