Halo: Flashpoint – The App Is Live & Ready For You To Dive In

Mantic Games has launched a new App for all your Halo: Flashpoint needs. From learning to play to running events it’s got you covered.
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to get into Halo: Flashpoint the boxed sets are great for that. But if you want something to poke at on your phone or do some list building between gaming sessions Mantic has good news. You can do all that and more with the new Halo: Flashpoint – The App!
“Considering recent tariffs developments and the high demand for rules and gameplay content, we’ve accelerated plans for our digital support. Here at Mantic HQ, in the background of releasing new content and products, our digital team (myself and Elliott!) have been eagerly building new tools and resources to make gaming all the better. We’ve been eagerly waiting to show this blog off to you, and it’s now time to blow the lid off our latest creation – Halo®: FlashpointTM – The App.“
Halo: Flashpoint – The App
Just as the banner above is pointing out you’ll be able to do a lot of things with the new App from Mantic. Inside the App you’ll have access to the full rules. That includes any FAQs and Errata as it will be “always up to date.”
You’ll also be able to assemble your own forces with the list builder that’s a part of the App, too.
This ability to build lists will be free to all users.
Select your faction, and then select your units from the all the options – and this will create you a list to use in your games. You can even submit that list to events and tournaments, via the app – and if it is an official event (with nine or more players) you’ll even get ranking points, and all with your free list!
Now, there will be a subscriber tier that will basically have the ability to build as many lists as you’d like. But the fact that that free version has list building for all factions already is a huge win.
Organized Play
Yes, you’re reading that right as well. You’ll also be able to browse for Events and even Run Tournaments within the App! The free-tier will let you find events and you can even run a tournament with eight players or less. Subscribers will allow you to run Ranked Events without a player limit!
“The advantage of running larger events is when you get nine or more players, your event becomes Ranked and all registered players will receive Ranking Points for our Global and National player tables, which in turn will grant them special rankings on their Service Records – and the chance to win exclusive prizes at the end of the season.”
I’ve got to admit, that’s a really cool feature. I’m both surprised and impressed that Mantic opted to include not just the ability to run tournaments but also the inclusion for Ranked events!
PDF Rules & More
“In addition to all the above features, we’ve now added PDF releases of the main rules and War Games expansions, so if you wanted to keep the rules on a handy PDF, you now have the option to buy those via the App and the Mantic Webstore.”
Beta Access Now Available
Right now (and for the next three months) this App will be up as a Beta. You can pop over to the official site and poke around. You can even register an account and get access as well. And if you want to subscribe to get the full features you can also do that for the Beta for only $1.17 a month. The full price looks to be $2.99 a month which seems pretty reasonable all things considered. If you’re a Halo: Flashpoint fan this seems like an expense that’s well worth it. But again, even the free version sounds super useful.
A Halo App? Have we gone full circle yet?
