K-2SO Joins LEGO’s Family of ‘Star Wars’ Droids

Everyone’s favorite KX-series security droid turned rebel spy is returning to the screen – and getting a new LEGO set.
K-2SO is returning in the second season of Andor, which drops tonight. To go along with his small-screen debut, he’s getting a brand-new LEGO set. And along with the rest of us, the man behind the droid, Alan Tudyk, will be adding it to his collection.
I love it. Any type of thing where they show our characters and show K-2SO, I like it. I’ll collect it. I’ll keep it. And to have him get a whole renewed enthusiasm around him and be back in the story again, as it connects to Rogue One, is a rare thing and very exciting.

New K-2SO LEGO Set
He stands at over a foot tall and his head and arms move so you can pose him with just the right head tilt. A stand and name plate is included, as well as a minifig version to really show the scale of the brick-built model.
K2 is a personal favorite, so I’ll definitely be picking this one up.

Chopper aka C1-10P
Build this member of the Ghost crew with this brand new set. Chopper’s arms and legs are posable and you can use the lever on his back to move his head. His center wheel and arms are detachable so he can be displayed as if they’ve been retracted into his body, just like the on screen version.

This driod is retiring this year, so snag one while you still can.

R2-D2
Though he only speaks in (sarcastic) beeps, R2-D2 is one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars. The loyal R2-series droid is known for his attitude – 0-0-0 described him as a “foul-mouthed little astromech.” He can hold his own in a fight and save your butt when it comes to shield generators and other tech. He’s the droid you want at your side when fighting the Empire.
This brick-built version comes with a nameplate and LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary brick. Plus, a minifig of Darth Malak with a lightsaber and an R2-D2 droid figure.

With this play set, you can build your own R2-D2, Chopper (C1-10P), QT-KT, or R5-J2, or create a new droid. Customize your droid with some of the fun accessories included, such as a cowboy hat, mustache, glasses, headphones, jet boosters, and stud shooters. This set is also on this year’s retirement list.
