LEGO has unveiled a whole host of sets coming out on May 1st for this year’s Star Wars Day celebrations.

It’s no secret that people love LEGO Star Wars. We are pretty big fans of it here. Over the years they have made some very cool sets, and each year they try to top them. This year LEGO has just previewed a fleet of new sets coming out for May 4th, commonly known as Star Wars day (the sets actually come out on May 1st). Let’s take a look at all the cool new sets you can grab.

First up, we have a pretty simple one in the Star Wars logo. This is a 700-piece kit that lets you build the classic STAR WARS title logo. It’s pretty cool and looks accurate. While I don’t think this kit is for everyone, I can see it being nice to go with a group of other builds you have on display.

  • Pieces: 700
  • 5 in. (13 cm) high, 11.5 in. (30 cm) long, and 1 in. (3 cm) deep
  • Available May 1st

Chopper (C1-10P) Astromech Droid

Next up, we’ve got a big Chopper model from Rebels and Ashoka. While Chopper is most famous from Rebels, the official release stats say this Chopper is from Ashoka. I’m not sure if there is really any difference there. Anyway, this looks like a pretty fun build with some fun moving and hidden parts. If you are a fan of the character or those shows, this is a great set to have.

  • Pieces: 1,039
  • 8.5 in. (22 cm) tall, 6 in. (16 cm) wide, and 3.5 in. (10 cm) long
  • Available May 1st

Kylo Ren & Jango Fett Helmets

These are two sets adding to the growing number of LEGO Star Wars helmets out there. This is a pretty big line and this adds two more iconic characters to it. Kylo Ren of course has the most iconic, and popular, head gear from the Sequels and it’s pretty surprising he didn’t have a helmet already.

Jango’s helmet (man, LEGO has been on a bit of an Attack of the Clones kick lately) is a little less exciting. We’ve gotten other Mando helmets before, so this is more of a re-color and re-work than anything else. But it’s still nice to have.

Kylo Ren

  • Pieces: 529
  • 7 in. (18 cm) high, 4.5 in. (11 cm) wide, and 5 in. (13 cm) deep
  • Pre-Order Now – Available May 1st

Jango Fett

  • Pieces: 616
  • 8.5 in. (21 cm) high, 4.5 in. (12 cm) long, and 4 in. (11 cm) deep
  • Pre-Order Now – Available May 1st

Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle

The very cool and popular Starship collection is also getting a new addition in the form of Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle as part of the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens. I’m a huge fan of the Starship collection; I own most of it, and I’m always happy to see it expanded. This build looks pretty decent and is a good translation of the ship.

However, if I’m being honest, I’m not super hyped about it. It seems like a pretty weird ship to do in the Starship collection. It’s small enough to get a normal-sized LEGO set, while I really like using the collection to bring in the big ships we don’t often see full sets of.

It’s also kind of pricy. $69.99 for a 386-piece set is a bit steep. Compare it to Klyo’s helmet, which is the same price and has 529 pieces, or the Executor from the Starship collection, which is also $69.99 but has 630 pieces. Heck, the Invisible Hand is only $49.99 and comes with 557 pieces. Now, obviously, not all pieces are equal, but that still seems like a pretty steep price for that count.

  • Pieces: 386
  • 10.5 in. (26 cm) high, 5 in. (13 cm) long, and 17.5 in. (44 cm) wide in flight mode
  • Available May 1st

Rebel U-Wing Starfighter

A ship I am excited about is the new U-Wing set from Rogue One and Andor. I freaking love the U-Wing and this set looks slick. It looks like it’s also got some fun play features and is pretty much an instant buy for me. It’s also the same price as Kylo Ren’s shuttle, with 200 more pieces, and it seems like it’s bigger as well. So… I know which spaceship I’m buying.

  • Pieces: 594
  • 3.5 in. (9 cm) high, 16 in. (41 cm) long, and 6 in. (16 cm) wide
  • Available May 1st

LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz

We’ve got two new sets of the LEGO BrickHeadz as well: one of Luke as a pilot and one featuring characters from Revenge of the Sith. These aren’t really my thing, and there isn’t a ton to say here. If you like these, you’ll probably want to add these characters to your collection.

UCS Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship

Last but certainly not least, we’ve got a new UCS ship with Jango Fett’s Firespray Class Starship. At almost three thousand pieces, it’s a massive and impressive build. This is the 2nd time we’ve gotten a UCS build of Jango/Boba’s ship, though the first time was in Boba’s colors in 2015. That set also had about a thousand fewer pieces. This is a big upgrade. It’s gotten glowing reviews from people who got previews, so if you want a new big set, this might be the one.

  • Pieces: 2,970
  • 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 17.5 in. (44 cm) long, and 15.5 in. (39 cm) wide
  • Available May 4th
