LEGO’s Lion Knights Castle is the best they’ve ever made, and it’s retiring this year. If you’ve been eyeing it, now is the time to grab it.

Lion Knights Castle

The castle and forestmen sets were my favorites as a kid – my first fancy-themed set was Forestmen’s Crossing with the painted baseplate that I chipped off over time. However, I admit that I was sad that the minifig heads didn’t match the animal characters in Disney’s Robin Hood. My memory of that set is why I was very excited when an update of this LEGO castle set was announced as part of the company’s 90th-anniversary celebration, along with the Galaxy Explorer, back in 2022.

Lion Knights’ Castle is the set you remember, but bigger and better. It opens and has a bunch of moving parts – the castle’s drawbridge and portcullis raise and lower. You can get ready for battle in the fully stocked armory. It also has hidden passages that minifigs can use to escape the dungeon. There’s even a secret hideout for the forest people.

  • 4,514 pieces
  • 22 minifigures – including the queen, knights, archers, wizard, and the forest people
  • 14 in. (38 cm) high, 17 in. (44 cm) wide, and 12 in. (33 cm) deep when closed

Medieval Town Square

Grow your LEGO Medieval city with a bustling town square with shops, a tavern, and a tower — or just get it for the Goat.

Build two large structures filled with detailed interiors—including a tavern, cheese factory, shield-painting workshop, guard tower, woodworking shop, and weaving workshop. There’s also a tree and vendor stall. Complete the scene with 8 mini-figures and various animals, including the iconic LEGO Goat. There are also functional features, including a crane and a small water mill.

  • 8 minifigures
  • 10 in. (25 cm) high, 14 in. (36 cm) wide and 4.5 in. (12 cm) deep

Land Rover Classic Defender 90

The rugged 1984 utility vehicle was made to navigate the most extreme terrain. This brick built version highlights its abilites with a roll cage, fire extinguisher, roof rack, an engine snorkel and traction plates. It also has functional steering, working suspension and a choice of 2 engines.

Vespa 125

Take a trip down the streets of Italy with this 1960s era classic. The moped has 2 seats, a removable engine cover with a brick-built engine, a functioning kickstand, and working steering. Finishing touches include the Vespa logo, a classic Italian license plate, a spare wheel, a helmet. Plus a basket including a flower bouquet on the back.

PAC-MAN Arcade

This detailed LEGO set recreates the arcade cabinet that mechanically plays the game with a turn of a handle. The replica of the classic arcade cabinet is full of retro details and fun features. It has a 4-way joystick and an illuminated coin slot. The game’s chase between Pac-Man and the ghosts is recreated with a mechanical maze. You can even open the back and display all the mechanisms.

The set also has a 1980s arcade scene to build and display alongside the cabinet. It has a gaming minifig and rotatable PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and CLYDE figures.

Boutique Hotel

Need a break? Maybe a minifig scale vacation? This luxurious hotel features a roof with a decorative dome and skylight. Below the turn-of-the-century facade, you’ll find guest rooms and a penthouse suite, a lobby, a terrace, and a grand staircase.
