‘The Art Of…’ Is Returning To Kickstarter To Fund The Fifth Set Of Books
“The Art Of…” is back with three more Volumes of amazing miniature art. The Kickstarter is going live April 22, 2025!
Dave Taylor Miniatures is back once again with another three volumes to add to the “The Art Of…” series. It was successfully launched back in 2021 and has already had 12 hardback volumes. Each book spotlight the work of a particular artist. For volumes 13, 14, and 15, we’re going to get the fantastic work of Vincent Venturella, Tim Marsh, and Natalia Oracz!

Vincent Venturella, from the US, has been painting for decades and his approaches to miniatures range from speed-painting armies to refined pieces for box art. For the last ten years or so, he has been chronicling his knowledge on weekly YouTube videos and Patreon posts, passing on the experience from his long and winding journey. While Vincent’s work is spectacular, it is his passion for helping painters build a strong foundation that is perhaps the most impressive thing.
Tim Marsh, the UK and Spain, has been drawing and painting for many years and has, in recent years, had the opportunity to focus on a business of painting, vending at shows with Journeyman Miniatures, and providing coaching to students across the globe. His distinct, textural style is truly wonderful to behold.
Natalia Oracz, from Poland, has stormed into the miniature painting scene with her bold use of color and her stunning use of ephemeral light sources and finely detailed textures. Whilst her style differs from those of Vincent and Tim, Natalia certainly shares their passion for sharing her knowledge with students around the world.

This really is a fantastic series of books on the art of miniature painting from people passionate about the hobby and craft of miniature painting.
