Warhammer 40K: Top 5 Space Wolf Units I Expect to Go to Legend Jail

Goatboy here and there is no way that all the Space Wolf stuff survives in the new book.  Here are the top 5 units I expect to get thrown into Legend Jail when we see the new codex comes out.

We know a lot of units get thrown out to the could outer wasteland of Legends when 10th Editon codexes get redone. So lets see if I can guess most of these Space Wolves doomed units correctly.

5. Lukas the Trickster

There is no way this model is coming back in the new book.  This crazy stasis grenade in his chest model is not going to get an upgrade. A weird 8th year Senior that doesn’t want to graduate yet as it is almost his time to be the Varsity Quarterback. I think 10th Edition is when Lukas takes a bow.

4. Canis Wolfborn

This model is so goofy looking when you compare it to the older Thunderwolf Calvary.  There is no way this model is not crossing the rainbow bridge.  It is just so funky with that oddly happy wolf, and I remember having one so many moons ago and wondering how he is even able to lift those claws.

3. Njal Stormcaller

Hey maybe this guy gets a cool upgraded Terminator body but most likely he is just going to walk in the sunset and find a Denny’s to get an early dinner.  It is such a weird model that never got an update in all these years he has been around.  I do have fond memories of his chain lightnings wrecking a ton of land speeders one game at Adepticon.

2. Sky Claws

We know new Blood Claws are coming and there is no way the old Sky Claws are going to make it.  The simplification of the army and removing some of the weird “double” choices that sorta match up with Space Marines will just float away into he sunset on crimson jets.

1. Logan Grimnar on His Power Sled

There is no way the derpy hover Sled is going to make it. This goofy model just doesn’t work in 40K and the overall theme of ancient Space Vikings in dark age armor that the new Space Wolves are pushing. I expect Logan himself to come back but he will lose that Sled and his giant puppies of doom.
