You get something new every day until Christmas! A brand new way to play your games of Warhammer 40,000 (plus loads of additional painting guides, missions and other hobby goodness) is coupled with a dozen short stories that detail some of the twisted servants of Chaos and their attempts to gain power.

DESCRIPTION
Across the Imperium and beyond, many hear the Call of Chaos. The Dark Gods touch many minds, and few can resist their clarion call. Even amongst the mighty Space Marines, there are many who have fallen into the lure of the Ruinous Powers. In the Eye of Terror and the Maelstrom, they battle amongst themselves for power, glory and followers, before launching raids on the Imperium they once strove to protect. The 2015 Advent Calendar includes 12 short stories about Chaos Space Marines, and the Path to Glory Warhammer 40,000 expansion, letting you gather a warband and battle other servants of Chaos. This serialised supplement includes missions, painting guides and more.

ABOUT THIS SUBSCRIPTION
Sign up to the Warhammer 40,000 Advent Subscription and whenever a new short story or Path to Glory instalment is released, your account will be updated with the latest addition.

This subscription includes twelve short stories and twelve parts of the Path to Glory expansion, which will be released over the course of December, one each day, in a zip file.

So it looks like this will be an entirely new way to play smaller games of 40k, sorta like Combat Patrol I guess? Not really sure, but whatever it is, it appears to be support for at least the month of December.

Did Games Workshop’s frenetic release schedule finally catch up with them, and there is no new rules for normal games of 40k this year, or did they just want to flip the script and try something new?
