40K: Top 5 Armies We NEED Lists For!
It’s that time of year for wish-listing. Here is our list for the Top 5 most NEEDED Armies in 40K!
#5 Adeptus Arbites
Why: Because Space Cops! When else are you going to get the chance to have a themed army that comes with built in theme music! You can show up to the table blasting “Bad Boys” and use Blue and Red Strobe lights to mess with your opponent. Tactically questionable? Absolutely. Rave inducing? Guaranteed!
#4 Hrud
Why: Lots of reasons! This is one of the earliest records of the Hrud – notice the small stature ad the tail? Very Rodent-like! There have been some awesome conversions of Space Rats over the years and I would love to see the Hrud get a full on army treatment for Sci-Fi Space Ratmen!
They have changed over time into some weird Sci-fi boogey man type – but I still like the ratmen version the best!
#3 The Demiurg
Why: Because Space-Miners! It’s not like we’ve ever had those in 40k before. I think it’s time for a comeback of the short, mining types with heavy armor and a bad attitude! Forge World already started with this model for Battlefleet Gothic – so make some ground-pounders and lets get this party started!
#2 Genestealer Cult
Why: Do I really need to spell this one out? Okay – because it’s the Freaking Genestealer Cult! Bring back the Magus, the Patriarch, the hybrids and all the wacky limo-riding nonsense! Who wouldn’t want to start an army based around this guy:
It would be amazing and you know it.
#1 Sisters of Battle
Why: Because let’s be honest – GW hasn’t seriously lifted a finger for them in DECADES.
What do you think? What Army would you love to see make a comeback-for-the-first-time? Any Xenos race that you’ve been dying to see on the table? Let us know in the comments below!
