This Week’s Tabletop Podcast Reviews 4/16 – 4/22
Hey all, Bahkara here for this week’s reviews! There is plenty of stuff to listen to so lets get on with it!
This week we are still seeing some Adepticon talk for a number of different games.
Masters of the Forge Episode 50 – This special milestone episode focuses on the Orks. They discuss the ork kulture and race but, as always, the best part is the custom scenarios that they create. Adam took the time to create a “Path to Glory” chart for the orks. So you can build up your own warboss from his humble beginnings as a ork boy to his ascension to becoming a Warboss. A good listen if you want to liven up your campaigns for your orks.
Allies of Convenience Episode 39 – Part one of their LVO coverage, In this episode they talk with the winner, Alex Harrison, and his experience at the event. They also speak with other participants that had traveled from the U.K. They discussed their time in Las Vegas and the event itself, In the next part it seems they will have interviews with other people that played in the event. Nice start to their coverage of the event and good to see the podcast putting out episodes again. I expect to hear a lot of news ones coming soon.
Heroic Intervention Episode 15 – This episode they have members of the playing group, nWo Blackshirts, on the podcast. They discuss information about the group, how they started, how many members, where they are located, etc. It’s a nice departure from the normal topics you hear. Sometimes you hear the nmes of different groups but know nothing about them. The interview gives you some insight into not just the group itself but the actual people that make up the club. I really hope they do more of these types of episodes focusing on different gaming groups.
