Setting up and learning the rules takes 3 minutes, tops. Players divide into two teams – Santa or Jesus – and pick a character from that team’s character cards. Players have to use their chosen character’s name through out the game or lose believer cards. The game play is based on 4 decks of gameplay cards that have puzzles, trivia, and challenges on them that teams complete together. Each challenge rewards the team with a number of believer cards. Who ever has the most believers at the end of the game wins.
Our group found the gameplay to be entertaining – we laughed a lot – and easy to play even after glass or two of wine. This game is not for folks that are easily offended – if you’re a CAH or Exploding Kittens fan the humor here will be a perfect fit. It can handle up to 16 players, so it’s perfect for holiday parties.
