BREAKING: Canoness Rules & New Sisters Codex?

The rules for the new plastic Canoness Veridyan are here and raise big questions.

…. wait….

.. does that mean there’s a separate book coming ?

A Stand-alone Sororitas Codex?

That wording is VERY INTERESTING.

I think we can now assume that a separate Codex: Adepta Sororitas is coming, which would give us 3 ways to field an Ecclesiarcy force on the tabletop.  Here are three things to note about this week’s Codex Imperial Agents:

• All the photography is of older existing metal minis. GW would usually highlight new plastic models in an army’s codex.
• St. Celestine is missing. GW pretty much doesn’t erase existing special characters in the “modern era” She may be saved for a full sisters codex.
• There is no “classic decurion” style detachment for the Sororitas in Imperial Agents.  I would expect it to show up in a full standalone codex.

Making a grand return in January?

~ Get ready – I assume the new Adepta Sororitas are coming back with a vengeance these next couple of months.
