Geekery: Behind the Scenes of Blade Runner 2049

Harrison Ford talks about returning to Blade Runner 35 years later and the how the design of the sequel stacks up.

This featurette from EW gives us the closest look at the new movie yet. Director Denis Villeneuve and the production team talk about trying to capture the feeling of the first film while still making it feel modern. Harrison Ford explains what it’s like to be back in Deckard’s shoes. It’s spoiler free in my opinion, but if you want to walk in knowing as little as possible I’d skip this one.

The original is 35 this weekend – give it a celebratory watch and get ready for the sequel before it’s out in theaters on October 6th.
