40K BREAKING: New Death Guard Tank Pics
You know how GW loves to hide things in plain sight… Look at the Death Guard’s new tank!
It’s funny how I was JUST Talking about how the Death guard needed some new vehicles and EPIC had the old Contagion artillery piece.
Today GW put out the advanced word on the new 40K launch products and the Getting Started Book has this image form a battle report:
Read the 2nd to last paragraph on the left page:
“Three Tactical Marines go down and a further three fall to an accurate blast from Nick’s Plagueburst Crawler.“
Now look on the let hand part of the page at the “B” marker at the base of the Space Marine statue terrain. Directly above the Marine statue’s head are a pair of Nurgle vehicles. The one on the left looks new and appears to have a top mounted mortar. Here’s a closeup for you to squint over:
Next look at this piece of artwork from an earlier Nurgle video teaser and check out this unidentified unit:
Hmm, some type of lumbering spikey tank with a top mounted mortar. Looks strangely familiar…
It looks like GW may have reimagined the ancient EPIC Contagion Plague engine as a new artillery-piece for the Death Guard!
