ToyLand: New Joker Fig from Sideshow Gets the Last Laugh
Make way for the Clown Prince of Crime! Sideshow has a new take on Batman’s top nemesis that has some great details and awesome head sculpts that really capture his insanity.
This 12″ tall fig comes dressed in the Joker’s signature snappy suit – which is cloth rather than sculpted, giving this version extra value and detail. The body is fully articulated, so you can create a variety of menacing and comedic poses. He comes with a bunch of hand options, and weapons to hold in them. The Sideshow exclusive version comes with an alternate head sculpt featuring the insane villain mid way through a bout of maniacal laughter.
Buying Sideshow is always one of those iffy things for me because they’re prices are so high, but I don’t think the price tag here is too high for what you get. It looks fantastic, isn’t a static statue, and it’s got elements that warrant that price tag. It’s on pre-order now, and is expected to ship late next year.
