GMM Studios is back, this time with a gorgeous Nurgle army that’s as corpulently pustulent as Greatfather Nurgle himself. Watch this army get shaped from raw plastic into an array of infectious delights.
Hello BoLS readers! It’s time to cover another finished commission, so let’s start at the very beginning. This is “Hexfleet Virules,” a Nurgle army with over 8 years of collecting, modelling, and thought process behind it.
You can find a link here to his facebook version. His brainchild and baby, he wanted the paint job done up to the nines with an eye behind it that would match the effort put into the modelling. Of course, this is an army that got me very excited to get started on!
Truth be told, this isn’t even the full army. After these were taken even more was added. Some more Tzeentch allies, more Creature Caster releases, and more. Even more excitement for the final finish, as only then would either of us have seen the army together in full for the first time.
It is hard to fathom how many hours the man has in the green stuff mold and fungus work. Here are some of my favorite models as well. A sweet Knight, a creature caster GUO, and a GW one. My job will be to blend these all together in the paint as well.
With that pre-work celebration out of the way, time to get started!
