Codex: Apocrypha– Now that is a very interesting title. Here’s a hint to get you in the mood:
Apocrypha are statements or claims that are of dubious authenticity. The word’s origin is the Medieval Latin adjective apocryphus, “secret, or non-canonical”, from the Greekadjective ἀπόκρυφος (apokryphos), “obscure”, from the verb ἀποκρύπτειν (apokryptein), “to hide away”.
So perhaps a Dogs of War type anthology of “fringe unofficial” units? Maybe forbidden knowledge, such as additional Chaos or Inquisitorial stuff? Forbidden or expunged xenos?
Thousand Sons Beware– That sure sounds like a good fit for plastic Plaguemarines, or any other followers of Nurgle. Of course it could be Space Wolves as well… Both those guys have it out for Mangus’ boys.
