40K: Traitor Guard’s New Unit Rules From Blackstone Fortess
A Traitor Commissar and Chaos Ogryn are coming to 40k courtesy of Blackstone Fortress. Come see what rules they are bringing with them!
If you haven’t heard by now, Traitor Command is coming to Blackstone Fortress and it includes a pair of two new models that are heavy on the Chaos.
“Traitor Command features two brand-new models – a cruel Traitor Commissar and his bodyguard, a lumbering Chaos Ogryn. Both of these hostiles will make life difficult for the explorers in their new quest.”
Not only are these some pretty cool looking models, they are also getting some new rules so you can use them in both Blackstone Fortress AND 40k!
For the Traitor Commissar, they still have their gift of “influence” on friendly Traitor Guardsmen with Forwards! For the Dark Gods!
Sure, you basically execute a model but in exchange, you get an extra 3″ to Advance and Charge rolls for that unit! Do you want your Traitor Guardsmen to rush forward into the enemy’s melee? Debatable…Unless your a follower of Khorne. In that case the answer is simply “MOAR SKULLS!”
And speaking of Melee, the Chaos Ogryn is no slouch in combat either:
Now, we don’t have stats on the Chaos Ogryn or his weapons…but I’d be willing to bet that an extra Attack for this model is going to sting whoever he decides to use it on.
More Traitors, More Chaos
Blackstone Fortress already has a full set of Chaos Guardsmen and now they are getting a Commissar AND a Chaos Ogryn. Plus, Blackstone Fortress also has Chaos Beastmen, too:
And Rogue Psykers…
It’s been talked about before, but Blackstone Fortress sure is slowing adding more of these Traitor Units to the universe in miniature form – and that means they also have 40k rules to use. Are we on a course for a Traitor Chaos Guardsmen Release? It’s been done before but never with such great model support. Chaos as a faction is getting a full Chaos Knight codex with hints at Dark Mechanicus ties (it’s those Infernal Knight Houses). Just sayin’…
We’d still need a Chaosy Heavy Weapon team. And probably a conversion kit for a few tanks. It really wouldn’t take much more to have a real Traitor Guard army. C’mon GW – make it happen!
