First Look Review – White Dwarf #12 Astra Militarum, Tools & More
Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, where did these tools come from?
Seemingly out of no where Games Workshop dropped a hobby bomb(shell) on us and it seems next weeks new releases are a revamp to their already successful line of hobby tools.
Gone is the Paint Station and rubberized grip tools line, in is something that looks like Bear Grylls would use to hobby in the wilderness.
It almost begs the question, if something isn’t broke, why fix it?
Regardless the new White Dwarf is here, and once again the end of month issues seem to lack the punch of content that the early month issues do.
Also back right around the same time as last month is another Hobbit article, which may make some wonder about the timing of such articles as well.
This weeks magazine is literally a template of last month’s notoriously content lacking, and buy our limited edition “X” product issue as well.
If the pattern holds, who knows what next months Memorial Day weekly issue will hold, right?
Fortunately though, the Paint splatter article is better this time around, and there is a neat article on allying with the new Astra Militarum as well.
So don’t give up yet, next issue is only a week away!
