The Old Guard is Dead – Astra Militarum Tactics Part One
Yay, the Space Military is here. But how should you play them?
I spent a lot time pouring over the new Astra Militarum codex, and made what I feel is a great Review and Tactics series that should provide some solid advice on what to field and how to field it.
Part one is below and goes over HQ’s, Warlord Tactics and Orders for the new book. It’s about 25 minutes long, so it’s great to listen to while hobbying or doing something else repetitive.
Overall I’m pretty stoked for the new ‘Guard I think because most units cost less, do more, and work better with each other than even before!
I think I made an error in the video when talking about some of the HQ’s and Commissars. Most of the new HQ’s are upgrades for the Company Command squads and not Independent Characters.
Straken, Commissars, Creed and Kell, Nork, and Regimental Advisers are all Characters contained within CC Squads.
