Kill Team is getting a new starter box that pits Space Wolves against the elite of the T’au alongside everything you need to play Kill Team.

Alright folks let’s get right to it. There’s a new Kill Team starter set, and it brings some old familiar faces to the forefront of the skirmishes around the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, where there is only war. Come and take a look at what awaits you if you take the plunge into Kill Team today.

Included in the book you’ll find the two kill teams. There are the Space Wolf Fangs of Ulfrich, which you might better know as the Space Wolf Reivers, and Advance Team Starpulse–which are the Fire Warriors and their drone companions. Each comes with their own set of gear and specialties; they’re pre-built to help new players get into the swing of things right away.

Two booklets describe the background of the Fangs of Ulfrich and Advance Team Starpulse, so you can familiarise yourself with each kill team and learn how they fight – and their motivations for doing so. Of course, if you’re feeling more ambitious, you can create your own kill team using these miniatures and guidelines in the Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Core Manual that’s included in the Starter Set.

Then there’s the core rule book:

This book will be familiar to existing players – in fact, it’s identical – but for new players, the Core Manual is very much the heart of the Starter Set. It contains all the background, game rules and playable missions, as well as the model datasheets and wargear profiles for each of the game’s factions. Armed with this essential book, you’ll be able to choose your kill team, select their specialisms and even generate names and personalities for each of its members! The Core Manual also features the full game rules and a number of open, narrative and matched play missions to sink your teeth into.

And of course you’ll get six frames of sector mechanicus terrain, enough to build and stack on the included gameboard.

The new Starter Set is Kill Team in a box. If you’re looking to get in the game, just grab this box, grab a buddy, and you’re ready to go.
