The Beastmen are BACK! Check out all the new details for Grashrak’s Despoilers – the Beastmen Warband coming to Warhammer Underworlds!

Season 3 of Warhammer Underworlds is taking us to a brand new location and introducing some brand new warbands. It’s an exciting time to be a Warhammer Underworlds player with Beastgrave coming to Pre-Order this weekend. Today, GW is showcasing Grashrak’s Despoilers and we’re ready to dive in hoof first!

via Warhammer Community

“Loathsome, unruly and driven by a savage thirst to destroy anything pure, Grashrak’s Despoilers are a brutal warband of gor-kin who would turn on each other in a moment if they weren’t already busy hating everyone else even more.”

Grashrak’s Despoilers are a warband consisting of 6 members. Let’s meet the crew!

Grashrak Fellhoof

For starters, Grashrak is a the leader and he’s also a Wizard. He’s got a unique reaction as well that will help friendly fighter’s attacks become a bit more accurate. Now, that is reliant on taking enemies out of action – but hopefully you can manage that one on your own!

Also note the trigger to flip this card over because it’s the same for everyone in the warband. That means when these guys go into “beast mode” they all do it at once!

Draknar

Draknar is one of your front-line heavy hitters. Getting that re-roll from Grashrak will help ensure that he’s making contact! Once he gets inspired, he also gains cleave – which is great for rushing in and finishing off the last few foes.

Gnarl & Ushkor

Gnarl and Ushkor are two new Ungors in the warband. Each is equipped with a ranged attack which is perfect for peppering some damage in before the fight happens. While Gnarl doesn’t change too much after getting inspired, Uskhor gains ensnare with his shortbow attack. Also, note that they both have the hunter key word – that will be important later.

Murghoth Half-Horn

Another Ungor, he might not look like much on paper but don’t let that deceive you. His stats are solid, so he can step-up and surprise your enemy…especially with a few well timed gambit cards.

Korsh “The Sneak”

With a name like “The Sneak” you’d expect him to be able to do something sneaky, right? Well he can! He can basically move around to any edge hex and launch a surprise attack (or objective grab) when your opponent least expects him!

Key Cards

These are just 9 of their cards that come in their deck – if you’d like to see the entire collection, you can view those on the Warhammer Community page.

Playstyle-wise, these guys are really late game monsters. If you can play fairly defensive at first, slowing building up momentum and downing two opponents, your entire warband will become inspired. At that point, the momentum you’ve built up will be on your side and you can go all-in for the win!

Beastgrave is coming to pre-order this weekend. Are you prepared?
