Warhammer 40K: Inquisition Rules Spotted In White Dwarf Leaks
The Inquisition’s new rules have been spotted in the latest White Dwarf, and thanks to the internet, now they’re spotted by you.
The latest White Dwarf has another one of those supplementary rulesets, like the very ones that introduced us to the Crimson Fists or the Ynnari (at least in part), and now we’ll be seeing a new index of Inquisition rules, complete with stat blocks for your favorite Inquisitors, new Relics, Warlord Traits, Psychic Powers, and Stratagems–all the things you’d expect from a new GW army. These come to us via user Matt_149 on Bolter and Chainsword, as well as Imgur. Let’s take a look:
Let’s take a look at how things begin with the Index special rules:
Two important things to take note of. First and foremost, you only get one Inquisitor per Inquisition Detachment. Also, you can take an Inquisitor alongside the rest of your army without having it disrupt your special battle brothers comp, so these are meant to be the special character attachments they always were.
Let’s take a look at Warlord Traits
And depending on what sort of Ordo you belong to, you might have mastery of special psychic powers, so let’s see what that gets you:
Each of the Ordos has their own special psychic power, as well as the six available to you through the Telestha discipline. Mental Interrogation is an interesting way to generate Command Points if you find yourself in need of them, but it’s highly situational. Still if you can leverage it against a low leadership character, you might be able to farm up your favorite stratagems.
As far as Relics go, there’s a mix of special purpose tools–you’ve got your relics meant to take down xenos, psychics, and daemons, which give you some fairly powerful weapons at your disposal. Finally let’s get to the stratagems.
What do you think of the new rules? Let us know in the comments!
