Warhammer 40K: Mephiston’s New Model Revealed
Games Workshop just dropped a new look at the upcoming Mephiston and the model looking HAWT!
Blood Angels fans – rejoice! The Lord of Death is making his triumphant return with a new model and GW is showing it off today! Not only that, they brought in Paul Murphy of the Forge the Narrative Podcast to get his reaction to the model:
That’s not all – check out what ELSE GW had to say about the new Mephiston:
Mephiston is the Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels Chapter of Space Marines, but his other title is the ominous-sounding Lord of Death. He was the first (and only) of his peers to master the Chapter’s curse – the Black Rage – gaining immense power and the admiration* of his brother Space Marines, even if some question whether the price was worth the prize. Now, he’s conquered death itself by crossing the Rubicon Primaris, making his title even more appropriate.
You read that correctly – Mephiston has crossed the Rubicon Primaris and now we have a Primaris Mephiston!!!!
As noted in a previous article and now confirmed by Games Workshop, this pose is based on the now classic artwork from Mark Gibbons from the Angels of Death Codex – 23 years ago!
And yes, there is an alternate arm option so you can recreate this classic pose. Soooo DOPE!
We’re excited about this brand new model for Mepiston and can’t wait to see it in person. You’ll get your chance too when he goes up for pre-order on November 30th!
