BoLS Open: What to Do in Austin After the Games Are Done
Austin has a lot to offer. Our location makes it easy to get a taste of what the city has to offer within a short walk. Relax with some amazing food, tasty sweets, and an international selection of beers after a day of battles.
As we all know, conventions and tournaments aren’t just about games. They’re about meeting new folks and spending time with good friends. When you’re done with your day of games (and we have many), here are some places to go and things to do that are near our venue.
Easy Tiger Bakery and Beer Garden
Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden features artisan bread, locally roasted coffee, cured meats, full bar, and more than 30 local and boutique draft beers. Our in-house bakery offers a selection of Old World hearth breads, European-style pastries, and signature soft pretzels— all baked fresh daily. Our sausages and smoked meats are produced locally in Austin, TX with Easy Tiger’s original recipes.
Pluckers Wing Bar
In 1995 Mark, Dave, and Sean sought out the best wings Austin, TX had to offer. When they couldn’t find them, they decided to make their own, and they’ve never looked back!
Vivo Tex-Mex
Featuring a focus on TexMex favorites as well as traditional dishes, beautiful tequilas, everyone’s favorite puffy tacos, and of course Vivo’s tasty margaritas.
Tio Pepe – Portuguese Style Chicken
Tio Pepe Chicken is inspired by the flavors found in the traditional Peri-Peri sauce and cooking over an open flame! Peri-Peri sauce is Portuguese in origin and prevalent throughout African countries. The sauce is made from a mixture of chilis, spices, citrus, and onion. With so many tasteful ingredients, it’s hard not to love it! Our goal is to bring this delicious combination of Peri-Peri seasoned chicken and exquisite side dishes to you in a relaxing atmosphere.
Lima Criolla
Lima Criolla offers a variety of authentic, Peruvian dishes. We use original recipes and the freshest ingredients available to produce rich and vibrant meals. Our dishes are made fresh every day. Join us for ceviche or arroz con pollo, chicken with rice, cilantro, onions, red peppers, and green peas cooked in inca corn beer. Pair it with a Peruvian beer! Come and experience an extraordinary part of Peruvian culture in Austin.
