40K: Defense Wins Championships – FTN
Adam and Red join Paul this week. We kick the show off taking about some Duke of Down Under success.
We have a community spotlight section in the middle and then Professor Red talks to us about Operational Framework. We have some tips in here for new and old players. Let’s get to it!
Hi all,
We recorded this episode before the big Marine changes so we don’t get into them in this show but you can bet your bottom dollar the meta is going to change. Sweeping changes to Doctrines and a few critical stratagems are going to break the top spots wide open. It might usher back in the Tau but a LOT has changed in the game since the last time that list was popular.
We can’t ignore the radical new abilities ushered in through the Psychic Awakenings and we’ll continue to see more.
Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome. Ordering a set is a good way to support one of our sponsors AND the show. Find them here.
In the middle of the show Jay Larsen joins me to talk about Crisis Protocol and how that game is developing into it’s own. He hosts a podcast about it as well. If you’d like to know more about the game please check it out.
In the back of the show Red scratches the surface on Operational Framework. Trust me.. It’s not as boring as it sounds. He puts some theory around one of the critical aspects of winning Warhammer 40k games. Over the course of the discussion we talk about discipline and reserve that’s difficult for some players to muster.
