Pathfinder: Play As A Band Of Kobolds In Upcoming Free RPG Day Adventure
Do you want to play as a band of kobolds? Of course you do. And soon you’ll have the chance, now that Free RPG Day has been rescheduled.
Free RPG Day has been moved to July 25th and it can’t get here soon enough. Free RPG Day, if you couldn’t gather from the name, is a collection of free RPG adventures that was once offered in FLGSes around the nation, but has been moved this year, owing to concerns about COVID-19. We’ll see if the new rising trend of cases in states that have re-opened does anything to hamper it, but here’s hoping–because Paizo’s entries into the hat this year look phenomenal.
Today we’re taking a look at Big Trouble in Little Absalom, an adventure that takes place in the crowded city of New Absalom. Players are proud, majestic kobolds (because what kobolds aren’t) who have been tasked with gaining access to a vault full of treasure. Terrible dangers await this brave band of kobolds.
Always living in the shadows is hard when you’re a clever and regal creature like a kobold. Now it’s time to make a name for yourself and bring honor and prestige to your clan.
In Little Trouble in Big Absalom, you take on the role of one of five kobolds from the Hookclaw clan tasked with exploring a treasure-laden vault discovered by a team of Hookclaw diggers. Enticed by the potential wealth, the kobolds brave terrible dangers in what turns out to be a *spoiler* before being asked by the kind old lady to retrieve her magical hedge trimmer from a neighbor’s garden.
Little Trouble in Big Absalom includes two mini adventures that can be played back to back or alone—filling as much or as little time as you have for madcap adventure. In addition, the five pregenerated kobold characters provide a preview of the upcoming Pathfinder Advanced Player’s Guide in this exciting offering for Free RPG Day! Grab some dice and some friends and play the role of determined kobolds!
