D&D: Big New Event Goes Virtual – Celebration 2020
A massive new virtual event from Wizards of the Coast wants you to celebrate (and play) D&D, while getting a look at both of their upcoming books.
Apparently D&D Live 2020 was just the first course, as Wizards of the Coast have announced a new virtual event, D&D Celebration 2020 that will give players around the world a chance to preview both of the upcoming books, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything AND Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, set to coincide with the launch of Rime of the Frostmaiden. Like it’s older sibling, D&D Celebration will feature a number of livestreamed panels featuring some of your favorite “D&D Luminaries” which probably includes the various influencers who shared spoilers of the upcoming Tasha’s Cauldron.
But you’ll also have a chance to play in three big adventures over the course of the day. Tickets are going rapidly, so you’ll want to snag a seat before all the good DMs are taken. Let’s take a look at what awaits you at the Celebration.
