Age of Sigmar: New Daughters of Khaine Battletome & Spells Inbound
The Daughters of Khaine are getting a new Battletome and some fancy new Endless Spells. It’s a bloody good time ahead for Morathi’s crew!
Morathi has been a big mover and shaker in the Mortal Realms lately. Spearheading the Broken Realms saga, she’s made some power plays that maybe haven’t got exactly how she planned. Regardless, her influence is undeniable. So it’s fitting that the Daughters of Khaine are up soon for a new Battletome. This new book looks to bring more than just new rules for the faction.
They have one of the older books and are a pretty potent army already. I’m looking forward to seeing what GW does to the faction. Hopefully they are going to bring in some of the newer stuff and add in a ton of great new battalions and relics to their army. Having just got a mini-update with Broken Realms: Morathi, it’s going to be interesting to see what else they add or if they consolidate some of those rules into the book, too. But again, it’s not just rules:
Check out those Endless Spells! Naturally, they all involve, well, blood! We’ve got a bloody hand of Khaine holding the Iron heart, we’ve got a freaking scary looking blood serpent with big old fangs ready to strike, and we’ve got a quad-pod of blood swords. I don’t know what any of these spells do but I’m betting all of them will be bad for my armies! I have a buddy who is certainly going to unleash these on me in games at some point.
If you’re waiting for this book the good news is that it’s going to come out at the same time as the Hedonite of Slaanesh releases! Which is quite fitting considering their history. That’s going to be one busy weekend for AoS fans.
