40K NEWS: Allies are GONE! DH-WH PDFs Released

Hot off the presses, Games Workshop has released the long rumored Codex Daemonhunters and Witchhunters as PDFs on their website. More here:

The new downloadable codices are trim affairs clocking in at roughly half their previous size, and are most importantly missing a handful of key sections from the previous printed editions. The new versions is lacking the following sections:

-Allies
-Hobby
-Painting
-Narratives and special missions

~So allies in other armies is now a thing of the past, now, giving these two older armies less unit options and letting the more recent Imperial Codices stand on their own two feet. What do you guys think is the biggest shakeup to the Warhammer 40k metagame because of this?

UPDATED: Ottawa Gamer reports this reply from a GW Customer Service rep saying the deletion of the allies section was in error, and tournament organizers will have to declare which version they want to use.  So that just muddied the waters further.
