New ‘Dune’ Board Game Coming Later This Year
Coming soon from Gale Force Nine, is a brand new board game based in the Dune universe.
Gale Force Nine has just announced the upcoming release of a new Dune board game to coincide with the movie slated to release later this year. This is NOT just a reskin of the classic Dune board game that was re-published in 2019.
This release has the same flavor, tension, and themes, but with a fresh new design with an updated look and feel to match the upcoming film. The rules will be updated to be more streamlined and cohesive, with the addition of a few new mechanics, like the Market Deck, where players will be able to purchase various benefits.
The addition of the 2-player head-to-head game mode adds a whole new way to play, while also being more accessible to even the most casual gamer. This game is not meant to replace the original Dune board game, but to sit alongside on your gaming shelf.
