Warhammer 40K Next Week: It’s A Battle Sisters Bonanza
It’s a big new Adepta Sororitas release next weekend, with a new combat patrol, ornate tank, and more–come see what awaits the Sisters of Battle.
The Sisters of Battle are getting some serious reinforcements in the coming weekend, with a new wave of pre-order releases. If you’re looking to start your Adepta Sororitas army, this is the perfect opportunity, because heading up the new release wave is a Combat Patrol set, which gives players 26 new miniatures to jumpstart their collection:
You’ll get a Canoness, Rhino, Penitent Engine, three Arco-flagellants, four Sisters Repentia, a Repentia Superior, five Seraphim, and 10 Battle Sisters, in the Combat Patrol set, which is enough to start bringing the Emperor’s Justice to those in need. Or is it the Emperor’s Mercy? I forget which one is “setting things on fire” but whichever one it is, it’s that one.
However, the new Combat Patrol set is only part of the plan. You’ll want to support your troops with some heavy vehicles, and when it comes to vehicles, the Sisters love to shrine up their tanks. Do you want a tank that could double as a reliquary? Well the Castigator has got you covered:
The Castigator is the mainstay of the Adepta Sororitas Vehicle pool. It comes kitted out with a frankly ludicrous number of heavy weapons – the largest of which is a choice of the Castigator’s bespoke, turret-mounted battle cannon or autocannons. You’ll have no problems praying your enemies away with the application of such extreme firepower.
But what is an army without its leaders? The battlefields of 40K are defined by heroes, and there are two new heroes coming to the Sororitas this weekend. Feast your eyes on Aestred Thurga and Agathae Dolan!
Aestred bears the Auto-Tapestry of the Emperor’s Judgement, which is as 40K as it gets. Meanwhile, the Hagiolater Agathae Dolan follows in her wake, recording every deed of faith she witnesses, presumably so that Aestred can become a living saint before you know it.
And for folks who live in Japan, you’ll also be able to pre-order the Palatine next weekend:
As an officer of the Order Militant, the Palatine is both a skilled fighter and a capable leader, so she makes a great addition to any Adepta Sororitas army.
All this, next week
